The works involved selective demolition, restoration and refurbishment of the interior, roof, stonework and windows to a very high standard to English Heritage’s approval.
Swimming Pool Extension
The full height double glazed low ion structural glass wall affords panoramic views across the estate from within the air-conditioned swimming pool enclosure. Spanning 3.9m unsupported in height and over 17m in length, the glass wall – with its oversailing zinc roof – connects the tropical planting and infinity edge pool area with the formal gardens and landscaped estate beyond.
