Altrincham Grammar School for Girls – Sports Hall, Manchester
Altrincham Grammar School for Girls is an outstanding secondary school offering education from the ages 11-18 spread across three suburban sites in Altrincham, Cheshire. These works were part of an extensive site wide feasibility & masterplan that we carried out to establish the most appropriate location for a new 4-court sports hall, changing rooms, classrooms & associated landscaping.
Close liaison with Trafford Council’s Planning Department was required to ensure that the new sports hall was sympathetic to the Devisdale Conservation Area & neighbouring properties
The scheme facilitates much needed additional school places in Trafford & the delivery of a wider sporting curriculum within a contemporary building & comfortable learning environment which the students & staff deserve.
