This scheme for Lancashire County Council provided a city centre primary school in Preston with a new sports hall building which provided not only much needed sports facilities for the School, but also a facility for the local community to encourage sports and arts in the area. The scheme was part funded by Sport England.
The building includes a multi-purpose sports hall, music/arts classroom, storage, reception and changing facilities.
The building was opened in the summer of 2005 and is being used successfully by 'before and after' school groups and many children and adults' community groups.
